In 2025, our Women's Health Clinic was awarded funding over three years for expansion of its Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain services.
Today, our Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Program (EPPP) provides multi-disciplinary help with endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain, while supporting women and people assigned female at birth (AFAB) in the community who otherwise could not afford to access specialised support for management of these conditions.
Run as part of our Specialist Health Clinic, the Program is led by our Nurse Coordinator and supports patients who are struggling with persistent pelvic pain and/or endometriosis.
All consultations are held at our Clinic in Wyoming, with some follow-up appointments available via telehealth. Women and AFAB people must be residents of the Central Coast to access this program.

The Program provides a comprehensive and holistic consultation service for patients over a 12-month period.
Our goal is to provide a personalised and achievable plan to assist with management of your endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain. Your plan may include various investigations, treatments, and/or access to a qualified multi-disciplinary team. In doing this we aim to fast-track diagnosis, help you make sense of your symptoms and provide you with education based on your own individual needs.
We aim to provide you with practical information and resources that you can utilise long term with the support of our team. We are here to support you to ensure you no longer feel alone in your pain journey.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes access to our Nurse Coordinator and GPs, as well as care coordination with external gynaecologists, physiotherapists, dietitians and psychologists, providing a holistic care journey.
As you progress through the program, there will be a number of groups specific to endometriosis and pelvic pain that become available.
Over a period of up to 12 months, we will work with you to achieve your goals and create practical tools to help manage your symptoms.
During the Program, we encourage you to remain in touch with your regular GP and we will inform them of your individualised plan. Once the 12-month treatment period is over, a treatment summary will be forwarded to your GP for ongoing care.

All consultations with our Nurse are provided at no cost to the patient.
To ensure the ongoing sustainability of this service, it is not possible to bulk bill all GP appointments. We are dedicated to making healthcare accessible for women. If you are experiencing genuine financial hardship, please discuss this with our nurse coordinator during your appointment.
Information for Patients
To be part of our Program, you’ll first need to obtain a referral from your GP, detailing all past treatment and investigations relevant to your endometriosis/pelvic pain. Once the referral is submitted, our Nurse Coordinator will be in touch.
You can direct your GP to this website for more information on referring you as a patient.
Information for Health Professionals
All participants who would like to participate in the program first require a GP referral, detailing all past treatment and investigations relevant to their endometriosis/pelvic pain.
We require the following information, where possible:
Referrals can be emailed to bloom@ccwh.org.au or sent through Health Link.
Once a referral is received, patients will be sent an SMS with a link and their unique patient code.
Please note that our services are designed to work in collaboration with each patient’s regular GP. Each patient will be encouraged to utilise our services and then be discharged back to their usual GP for ongoing management at the end of the program.
Persistent (chronic) pelvic pain is common, affecting 15-25% of Australian women, yet it has historically been poorly understood and managed.
Persistent pelvic pain is defined as recurrent pain in the pelvis (the area below the belly button and between the hips) for more than six months.
Endometriosis is a chronic, inflammatory condition where cells similar to those that line the uterus are found outside the uterus (most commonly in the pelvis).
Endometriosis is a widely recognised factor in persistent pelvic pain, but is often just one part of the picture, so a holistic approach to care is required.
Not all people with persistent pelvic pain will have endometriosis, and not all people with endometriosis will have persistent pain, so individualised assessment and advice is recommended.
We take a whole-person approach, and work with you to reduce your distress and discomfort, while holistically improving your quality of life.
Please note that we are unable to prescribe S8 medication (e.g. strong pain killers or opioids such as codeine or endone) through this service.
All appointments for the EPPP will be booked by our Nurse Coordinator, once a GP referral is received. Once this referral is received, you will be sent a link to complete an ‘About You’ form and our Nurse Coordinator will contact you to schedule an appointment. No appointments can be booked directly over the phone or online at this time.
Yes we do. Our specialist Nurse and clinic team have created an evidence-based general endometriosis and pelvic pain resource list which is regularly updated. You can download it here.
