Counselling

Women’s Counselling

Counselling at our centres occurs in a safe, non-judgemental, and trauma-informed way to support the healing, recovery and empowerment of all women who access our service.

Our counselling service is a short to medium term service, usually only providing up to 10 sessions, with flexibility to extend and review.

Counselling is delivered across all three centres by our dedicated counselling team, who draw on a variety of counselling and therapeutic approaches to support every woman to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Common reasons for women seeking counselling at CCCWHC include:

  • Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV)
  • Sexual Abuse – experienced as an adult or child
  • Grief and loss
  • Relationship boundaries
  • Sexuality and intimacy
  • Anxiety
  • Anger and conflict
  • Low self-esteem including body image
  • Relationship challenges – work, family or partner
  • Navigating change and life choices

Due to the high volume of requests received, we do not have capacity to support new clients with Counselling at this time.

Although we are not currently accepting new referrals for this service, we don't want you to feel left without options.

Please submit your enquiry and we will get back to you with information about alternative services or options for support.
