Nominations Are Now Open

2026 Honorary Life Membership Nominations Now Open!

The Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre (CCCWHC) has a new process for nominating Honorary Life Members to our organisation.

Honorary Life Membership is the highest honour CCCWHC can bestow. It recognises individuals who have made an outstanding and exceptional contribution to our organisation’s mission of creating safe and healthy futures for women on the Central Coast.

This recognition may be awarded for either:

  • Sustained service and commitment over a significant period of time; or
  • A transformational or exceptional contribution within a shorter period that has had a profound and lasting impact on CCCWHC and the community it serves.

All nominations must be submitted using the form below and be endorsed by two (2) nominators who are current CCCWHC members.

Assessment and Approval Process

  • Initial review: The CEO will review all nominations to ensure eligibility criteria are met. Incomplete or unclear nominations will be referred back to nominators for additional information.
  • Board consideration: Eligible nominations will be presented to the Board of Directors for consideration at its ordinary meetings. The Board will assess nominations against the membership criteria, considering both:
  1. Sustained Service: length, quality, and consistency of contribution over time.
  2. Exceptional Impact: significance and lasting effect of a one-off or short-term contribution.
  • Board Approval: A resolution must be passed by the Board to award Honorary Life Membership.

Timing
Nominations open three (3) months prior to the CCCWHC Annual General Meeting (AGM) and close on Friday 16 October, to allow time for consideration at the last Ordinary Board Meeting before the AGM.

2026 Honorary Life Memberships will be announced at CCCWHC’s AGM on Thursday 5 November 2026.
